Dan and Dave

I just have to give an endorsement to my friends Dan and Dave. They write, make, and sing excellent music. I met them at good ole SLCC back when I was a wee lady of 19 years of age. I became a groupie--not a love stuck groupie or a crazy groupie, but I loved their music. I went to gigs in SLC all the way down to Cedar City. I recently refound them and wanted to share their music with you. I added their widget called Half Cowboy and they have music you can download on itunes. I love some of their older songs like Humma Jeeba, I'm there and I care, and their yodling rocks. They taught me how to yodle once--I started to get the hang of it, but it's incredible to listen to them. They are also great friends--I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Its delicious and soooo nutritious!!!

I know I have been a blog slacker--seriously. I think it's because I've realized summer is slipping away, so I spend every second I can outside. I can even smell the air changing. It's starting to smell like fall. The above picture--yum. I first of all have to thank many of you for sharing your garden goods with us. We have enjoyed many meals that have included squash, zucchini, tomatoes, spaghetti squash, and apricots. Isaak loves apricots by the way and if you are ever constipated Apricots will start the flow going again--sorry if that's way too much information. This meal was awesome--it's simple too--shredded zucchini and squash with parmesan, butter, and pasta---and of course tomatoes with parmesan. We have even made zucchini bread, fried zucchini, buttered zucchini. I love it. I love summer. I wished Isaak loved squash as much as I do, but I'm alway singing to him, "it's delicious and so nutritious," I figure if I sing and make it sound fun-
