Cory and Sadie

We went to the grocery store today and I’ve again recommitted to not bring Isaak. He wanted to push his own cart and would barely let me touch it UNTIL he spotted gumdrops. Gumdrops. He ran down to the end of the aisle and tried to figure how to get them off the hook. I was relieved when I figured he couldn’t get them off. I told him he couldn’t have any, but that didn’t deter him-he kept tugging, so I in turn tugged him away. I was proud of myself and I thought I had a handle on the situation, then he looked up at me and said Please Mommy. I still said no. I’m made of steel right? We got about two aisles away and I set him back down so he could push his cart. He seemed resigned on the gumdrop idea, but I was WRONG! He darted back between my legs and grabbed unto those gumdrops and pulled with all his little boy might and the plastic broke! Down came the bag of gumdrops. Isaak was elated. He looked at me with the biggest smile on his face and placed them in the cart. I resigned. We br
