My dirty little secret

My secret is that I love to pop zits. Want to know what makes it dirty? I love it when they pop or better yet explode. Are you grossed out? If not you may also be a fellow zip popper lover. I love when Isaak wears new socks and I get to clean the lint out from between his toes. I also enjoy cleaning dirt out of crevices with Q-tips or toothpicks. I have no idea why this gives me such satisfaction, but I feel like I've accomplished some great thing. I love the little things that I do every day that make it fun. I love to change Isaak's diaper and tickle his belly until he giggles or at least looks likes he's giggling because his mouth is wide open. I love to do some random house chores and see how excited Cory is when he gets home and I've done it. I also adore reading. It is one of my favorite past times that I have recently rekindled. I'm reading Rena's Promise and checked out a book on President Roosevelt (I love libraries too!). I'm in love with practically everything. I spent some time with my Grandma today and she told me I should be writing in my journal. I agree with her and wonder how I did it everyday for two years and now I write once in about four months. I learned that my Grandma herded sheep today-I think that's pretty awesome. I figured I might as well post some pictures of Isaak to make my post more fun-plus I haven't posted any pics of him for-forever.Isaak trying to sneak some of our leftover popcorn! Don't worry he didn't escape with any.Easter Sunday in his spiffy onesie.

Cory and Isaak cooking up some delicious dinner in the moby. I wish we knew how to use it better, but Isaak always seems to be falling out of it or it's too loose or too tight.

do you remember when you read enough books to get your name on all the 'whatever picture the teacher used' around the classroom - I think it was 100 or something. Once you reached your goal - you just stopped. :)

OW!!!!!

So yesterday we decided to go rollerblading. I know it’s a little out of style, but it is great fun. The first thing that I need to mention is that I have a great pair of rollerblades. They are speedy-I barely have to move. The second is that I’m not great at stopping. I can do it, but it’s hard to stop quickly. So the story-There is this trail by our house that is hilly and curvy. We start going uphill and we are going against the wind so it’s pretty hard. We were a huffin’ and puffin’ and sweatin‘--Cory more than me since he‘s actually pushing the stroller. I start to get a little nervous when Cory points out that we will be going downhill and the wind will push us. Hmmmm-I’m thinking to myself that means we’ll practically be flying. I tell myself it’s okay because I’ve gotten much better at stopping. I even reached the top of the trail before Cory and was telling my friend Tina that I had better get off the phone unless I wanted to end up getting plastic surgery from face planting.

Whaaaaat??????

I'm happily brushing my teeth in the bathroom. I'm looking around wondering what else I could be doing while I'm brushing my teeth and I started to think to myself, hmmmm , I wonder what's in toothpaste? I picked up the tube with my free hand and continued brushing. As I was reading the back I noticed a WaRnINg : Do not use for more than four weeks at a time. What? Do not use for more than four weeks? I anticipated reading if you swallow more than what you are brushing your teeth with call poison control. I try to start adding up how long I've been using this toothpaste. Cory didn't like it, so I've been using it solo and it has surely been more than four weeks. Now I don't know what to do with it--do I take a break and come back to it or do I just keep using it? I mean it's been about three months and I still have quite a bit left and nothing seems out of the ordinary yet...But seriously I think that the warning on the toothpaste should at least be
